installed Exchange Server V4.0 on Intel-Cluster different clients displayed different behaviour on a first time installation - WfW client performs well - amazing ! - W95 Client does not work as it displays the follwing error message "folder cannnot be opened - an unexpected error ocurred - Information service EMSMDB.DLL cannot be loaded. Changes in offline folder cannot be synchronized" Question: shouldn't the system rather look for EMSMDB32.DLL ? - Client on NT Server V4.0 - performance is down starting the Client takes a minimum of 3 minutes looking into the task manager the status field changes from 'no response' to 'execution' to 'no response' until finally the client pops up regards artur

Are you sure you installed the Win95 client kit from the Exchange CD's? RE: NT 4.0 Sounds like the RPC_BINDING_ORDER is messed up. You'll have to hack the registry. Look under hkey_local_machine/software/microsoft/exchange/exchange_provider Put netbios or one of the tcp/ip bindings ahead of things like spx. What's happening is that it's going down thru the list of bindings, timing out on each one till it gets one that works. mike | |||||
