| I but you're running Windows 95, right? If so, Windows 95 ships with a stripped
down Exchange client that doesn't have the Inbox Assistant. You need to install
the full Exchange client to get the extra goodies.

896.2 | sometimes Exchange loses it | PARZVL::16.124.40.119::kennedy | nuncam non paratus | Thu Feb 20 1997 21:01 | 5 |
| I think Exchange has been known to lose these attributes sometimes.
The fix I was told for that was also to re-install the client.
And the Out of Office Assistant is what the original poster is
looking for (the place to create auto-replies).

| Thanks for the input. Like you said, I am running Windows 95 and
it is probably the "stripped down version of Exchange" ...
I'll contact CCS and get the full client version added..
Can I stop scratching my head and pulling hair now...??
Thanks,
Jay

896.5 | Exchange - full version loaded - OK now | NETRIX::"[email protected]" | Jay Maloney | Thu Mar 06 1997 19:45 | 11 |
| Just to finish this thread... I contacted CCS and they gave me
instructions to load the "full version" of Exchange. I was able to
reload the full version and now my Inbox assistant and Out of Office
Assistant are working. The problem was just as the previous entries
had indicated, a stripped down version was loaded when I upgraded to
Windows 95.
Thanks for the guidance..
Jay
