| I'd like a pointer to that FAQ!
The LJO site has been removed from Digital's network -
the people who remain there are all belong to that
AltaVista Software company. The 2 other groups which
were there have moved. I believe the IBG went to
MRO & the Corporate Library Group went to AKO.
If you don't mind using LMHOSTS, there does appear to
be a machine named is-share.ako.dec.com, [16.151.72.33]
which may be what you're looking for. I'm not really
sure who is responsible for changing the WINS
registration. You may want to call your helpdesk and ask.

| Thanks. The IS-SHARES server in AKO is the one I was looking for.
I'm not sure I know of a good public directory to put this
document. If you can recommend a location, I will copy it
there. I received it in the mail.
It is marked as 'Internal Use Only'.

845.3 | public folder is a public location (and internal only) | PARZVL::dhcp-35-128-227.mro.dec.com::kennedy | nuncam non paratus | Fri Jan 31 1997 20:49 | 2 |
| How about posting it to the Exchange Users' Forum
Public Folder?

845.4 | No can do | HYDRA::KLIGER | | Mon Feb 03 1997 14:04 | 6 |
| I don't have a CCS Exchange account therefore I don't have access to
those public folders.
However, I would be real surprised if the document is not already
posted in one of the public folders.

845.5 | it's not there! | PARZVL::ogodhcp-125-128-23.ogo.dec.com::kennedy | nuncam non paratus | Mon Feb 03 1997 18:57 | 9 |
| Well, I just checked the Exchange Frequently Asked Questions
and User Forum public folders - I can't imagine where else
you'd put this information.
Perhaps this message only went to certain BUs - or perhaps
it's still in the approval loop! If it's really a document
for the Digital community, published by the Mail Leadership
team, how about mailing me a copy ([email protected])?
I can post it into one of those folders.
