| This is how I handle postscript files sent to me via EXCHANGE.
I installed a shareware file called PRFILE32.EXE. This was found via
AltaVista, look for PRFILE10.ZIP. I then saved the postscript file from
EXCHANGE as FILENAME.TXT (You only have 3 choices). I then renamed the
file to FILENAME.PS and dropped it on the ICON I created for PRFILE32.
PRINTS FINE.....

202.11 | POSTSCRIPT interpreters work for ANY printer. | JULIET::HARRIS_MA | Networks Sales Exec | Tue May 27 1997 22:44 | 11 |
| RE: -.1
Only works if you actually have a POSTSCRIPT-compatible printer.
There are some solutions that actually READ/INTERPRET POSTSCRIPT and
then create printable files. Two favorites: Zenographics's SUPERPRINT
V5 and Adobe's DISTILLER V2. Both require a manual two-step process,
but both work with ANY windows-connected printer (Not just
POSTSCRIPT-resident printers).
