177.2how do you connect to easynet dialupHIGHD::MELENDEZTue Mar 11 1997 17:039
    Hello Pierre,
    Is There any chanceyou might have a procedure to configure
    a windows 95 system dialing in to the easynet using ppp and
    exchange. Up to this point I have not been successfull in
    getting conected to the exchange servers via a dialup PPP.
    As I am never in a digital office I need access via Dialup.
    The networking group has been less than helpfull.
    Thanks in advance

    In a nutshell, you need to:

    1. Make sure NETSCAPE or other WInsock compliant TCPIP application
    works. Yes?

    2. You need to make sure the dial-up icon you use has DNS and WINS
    servers defined. BOTH are required for Excahnge.
    (My Computer, Dial-Up networking, and then RIGHT-Mouse click on the
    ICON you use, then choose properties. You can find the TCP/IP Settings
    and DNS/WINS entries Tab. Make sure they are filled for your particular
    site you are dialing into.

    3. look at:
