| While they have messed up, most file-extracters will let you get the
files out one at a time so all may not be lost if you don't have the
spare RAM.
I havn't bought the mag so I don't know if that's possible in this
case or if they're just suggesting that you need 2Mb to run it
usefully!

1325.2 | Cannot de-arch one at a time | KERNEL::BLAND | Norman Bland 833 3797 CSC, Basingstoke | Mon Oct 19 1992 11:53 | 6 |
| It is a self de-archiving format that they use; I am not aware of
anyway in which to extract one file at a time. Yep , I can do this with
other ARC's. The file is simply too large to de-archive unless you have
a hard disk (or a poor man's hard disk - RamDisk).

I've seen some in the past that have been able to be processed by
standard .lzh or .zip extracters. I just try getting a listing with
one or the other and it often works.
Anyway, what did you think of it?

Thanks for the pointer - it may be useful to other readers.
re .3
You may be correct in that you can pull single files from the archive.
As for MiNT - I have manged to crash the system at least twice but the
README files do say that it is "BUGGY". I have not found much use for
it yet (early days), it is a case of playing around and finding out
what can be usefully run on it.
