particular from it?

1304.2 | 1040STe - Composite video? | VIVIAN::D_HICKEY | The longer u live the sooner u die | Fri Aug 28 1992 07:27 | 16 |

A customer had asked me how to connect a VR241 to his 1040STf. I
connected his cable up per PRNSYS::DUA2:[lomickaj.hobby.ST]monitor.txt
However the sceen is o.k for about a minute then it slowly begins
to scroll.He's tried adjusting the vertical hold pot within the VR241.
I was interested to read all replies to the old note 367.5 to see
whether anyone else had the same problem.
Today he told me that he's actually got a 1040STe not an f . Does
anyone know whether that produces composite video , because I could
then connect that directly to the Synch pin on the vr241 as explained
in monitor.txt.
Thanks in advance,
Don.

1304.3 | Found it on CSOA1::MY_ATARIST | CSOA1::FISHER | The harvest is great, but the laborers are few | Fri Aug 28 1992 10:14 | 8 |
| There's a copy of the 'atarist_old' conference on node CSOA1::. It's
there under a different name however. It's not moderated. It can be
accessed via:
CSOA1::MY_ATARIST
Good Luck

1304.4 | Use the composite pin for sync. | PRNSYS::LOMICKAJ | Jeffrey A. Lomicka | Fri Aug 28 1992 13:20 | 3 |
| The 1040STe has an RF output and therefore ought to have composite video
as well. I could put an oscilloscope on mine and let you know, but it
would be easier if you just tried it to see if it worked. It should.
