    - ST BOOK for high price (3500 DM)
    - Multitasking TOS/GEM
    - New PC-Line with 486sx/dx
    - TOS 2.6
    - Lynx II
    - UNIX (with Developer Kit)
    - a lot of new Portfolio Software

    New anouncement from Atari: A NEW ATARI-Computer comes over the ocean,
                                the NEW FALCON_016-Computer
    
      - 68030 CPU with 16 MHz/(32 MHz soon)
      - 2 MB Memory
      - New Graphicsolutions with 16,7 Mio. colors
      - 52 MB Harddisk
      - 8-Channel Stereosound
      - Operating System is TOS (MultiTOS?, GEM?)
    
      Price: about $1500
    
      
    Hardware/Softwaredeveloper have seen the machine on the CeBit
    (behind closed doors) and ATARI will released the computer in sept/92.
    Development-Kits and first prototypes will be available in apr/92.
    
    ATARI will be back with the slogan "Power without the price..."

    Info's about the new machine:
    
         The name is now FALCON 030      for the 68030 Machine
         and             FALCON 040      for the 68040 Machine
    
         A DSP-Chip is build in (for Sound and I/O, such as NEXT).
         16,7 Mio. Colors with TT/new graphicmodes
         MultiTOS-Betriebssystem (90% Compatibel with TOS 2.6)
         Chassis like the 1024STF, but with better keyboard!
     
         Available in Sep/92, Development-Kits are now available
         from ATARI.

    2 meg RAM with upgrades to "much larger"
    
    built-in HD (where?)
    
    uses S-VGA display
    
    Atari pushing developers for DOS emulators
    
    Compatible with ST, STe and TT OS
    
    16 bit stereo sound
    
    Might actually ship eventually  8^)
    
    Anyone heard anything more about the demo scheduled for the BCS meeting
    this month?  Time to postpone upgrade plans again...
