1229.0. "3-D tetris??????" by SCAACT::BROWNL () Wed Jan 08 1992 13:11

    I Recently saw a 3-d Tetris game on an IBM system. Has this been done
    for the Atari yet? (Has anyone seen it?) Is there perhaps a PD version
    it (i wish!)

1229.5Welltris ?WAYOUT::CLARKEThe Cat in the Hat comes back.Mon Feb 17 1992 11:3513
Welltris has recently been released for the ST by the same writer as Tetris. This
is 3D in so much as you drop shapes into a Well and must build up layers on the
bottom. Not PD however so looking at a serious investment on something with plenty
of PD look-a-likes..

Talking about PD.

A Tetris-a-like Shareware goody (Klaxtrix I think) appeared on ST User cover disk.
This is unique in so much as the shapes are static and you rotate the colour order.
Layers then fall at the bottom when colours match across. Plenty of nice colours,
sampled sounds, written in STOS.
