| What's new you ask?
Watch for - real soon now - a true NOTEBOOK sized Atari ST at 8Mhz, 4MB
RAM, 60MB hard disk, in an A4-sized package at about " thick, the ST-BOOK,
and it's alter-ego, the ST-PAD, which is a keyboardless ST that does
stroke recognition on a stylus-senitive LCD display, should be available
just after :-( the Christmas rush. If I'm lucky, it will be out
beforehand, but experience has made us wiser.
You can get today a "Mega STe", which is a 16Mhz 68000, easily twice the
speed as the original ST, and not much more expensive.
Some neat new software titles, like PageStream 2.1 (Also on Amiga).

| Hmmmm...
I hadn't heard of this, can you give me some more info about it,
e.g. screen modes/colours available, RAM/expandability, sound
capabilities, disk capacity etc...
Is it compatible with all software or does it suffer the usual Atari
incompatibility problems? When was it available, is it available in the
UK and how much is it?
Sounds interesting....
FYI - I have a sneaky feeling CBM will start selling A500+ machines
before Xmas in UK (1Mb A500 w/ WB2.04, Super Agnus & expansion slot
for further 1MB chipRAM), but who knows what the likes of CBM/Atari will
do???.
Thanks for the reply...
