| I was thinking more about availability of drivers etc etc rather than
physical connection.
Physical connection is no problem. Trying to understand what characters
I have to send to it to get it to do what I want is more difficult.
For instance, in the book which comes with the printer it has some
command sequence for super/subscript. It says something like
ESC G n1 - Set super/subscript
But what value is n1 ??? Is it 0 or 1, or 0 and 1 in ASCII or what ???

There was a review of the Canon a few months ago in ST User. They said
that there was a software company offering two drivers for the ST. I
cant remember the name, but it is the outfit that do all the Urdu and
Hindu script drivers for Signum, something *GATE* computing I think.
Can anyone give the full name?.
Cheers

At great personal expense, I will look up the article and post the name
and telephone number for you. I dont think that the article had the
price attached, but you can "let your fingers do the walking"

1178.8 | See LA324 Manual | SUBURB::JAMESH | Left Handed People are SUPER Natural | Wed Oct 02 1991 11:35 | 10 |
| I bought a BJ10, a parallel cable and connected them together.
Bootiful print...as good as a laser.
If you can get hold of a LA324 programmers manual that gives all the
control codes for the XL24, which of course the Bubblejet emulates and
which should answer most of your questions.
The graphics are supurb. I use it for producing printed circuit
layouts. I can select 1:1, print onto acetate and produce the boards
directly from there.
If you don't want fanfold paper then I strongly recommend the BJ10.
