			This Year's Local Atarifest!!!
				  TOMORROW!

Sorry about the short notice.

Connecticut Atarifest is TODAY and TOMORROW at the Bidgeport Hilton in
Bridgeport Ccnnecticut.  It's only a few hours drive from us "Greater
Maynard Area" people.  The "trade floor" is tomorrow (Saturday) only,
starting at 10:00 in the ballroom.  The featured technology is
direct-to-press.  Bob Brodie will be speaking at 3:00 on Saturday.

Apparently all the "local" Atari suppliers will be there, where local
seems to include New York and Massachusetts.  I'd expect Taylor Ridge
Books, Nevin Shalit (Tracker ST), Tidbit :-), Gribnif, Fast Technology,
etc., etc.

This is a "local" user group show, sponsered by three or four groups in
southern CT. Estimated attendance is said to be 300 people.  Publicity
was limited to CT and NY areas, so we didn't hear much about it around
here.  Brian Glockley was hanging around the Bit Bucket Atari Day last
month recruiting for it.

I'm expecting a good time.  Rooms at the Hilton are $49.95.  I'll be
there, so if you show up, be sure to hunt me down so I can connect the
face to the name.

    So Jeff, how about a report?

I've been flat-out busy since the fest, but I'll write a report for
NaVAUS and copy it here when it's ready.  It was a fun time.   I saw Ray
Wallace there too, so maybe we can coerse a report out of him in the meantime.

    Does anyone have the date for for this years show?

     I saw a news item on CompuServe which I think I can remember
    as giving details for a show in the 'Holiday Inn' in Bridgeport (?)
