The power supply to my two Syquest hard disks quit. I don't even know what I'm supposed to do tomorrow, since I can't get at my calendar! Can someone tell me where I can buy an external power supply in the Greater Maynard Area, tomorrow?! I need 5 volts at 15 amps and 12 volts at 6 amps, minimum. Thanks for any suggestions. Gil

Pretty high priced alternatives! Go to Unitech or any other computer PARTS store, and get the power supply for an XT clone. Watch the 12 volt rating, 15 A of +5 is no big deal, but the 6A of +12 might be hard to find. | |||||

Thanks for the help. I looked at a few power supplies at Active in Woburn, and then remembered that UPS could deliver cross country in 24 hours. So I called up Carter Graphics in Washington, Utah, who had sold me the dual Syquest unit, and I had a replacement the next day, no charge! By the way, the replacement unit was a different manufacturer, so there may have been others with my problem... Anyway, thanks for the help. Gil |
