    Hi,

    I recently installed a new USENET reader on my system. It enables me to
    subscribe to any of the USENET services I want, including
    comp.binaries.atari.st.

    The only problem is that you have to identify your nearest, or most
    convenient USENET server. (I use a server located in the UK, I dont
    know where your nearest server is).

    You can pull all the required files, to set up your own client from:

    	NOTSO::DISK$USER:[KEANE.NEWS]

    Our esteemed Atari patriarch Ray Wallace had a lot to do with the
    software for this, (I think), so if you have any probs give him a mail.

    There are also a couple of notesfiles covering USENET and VNEWS

    these are Roll::usenet and CLO::VNEWS

    Cheers

    Pat K.

    Take a look in the UPSAR::NEWS-BACKBONE conference for server sites...

    Also, if you're using a workstation, you may like to take a look at
    (M/D)XRN newsreaders...

    Cheers,
