Also being only black and white a game to play that doesn't rely on
colour might be fun. Where can i get a copy?
Paul.

| You can find the ZOO file (if it hasn't strayed) at OLDTMR::$1$DUA8:[WALLACE.PUBLIC.ST]SBREAK.ZOO.
Happy breaking!

...excuse me for sounding silly but.....
How can I 'de-arc' this .ZOO file, both VMSSWEEP and ARC.EXE complain
about it. Bet that there is a ZOO.EXE as well....
Where can I get that ?
thanks,

| I agree with .0 - this game is great!!!! I've already played for hours on end,
getting up to level 60 by 'Continuing' after losing all of my lives and will
admit that I'm somewhat addicted.
This game, along with STETRIS, KRABAT2, and RISKY make owning a monochrome-only
system quite bearable.

1021.5 | Yes there is a ZOO.EXE | YNOTME::WALLACE | | Fri Nov 30 1990 11:27 | 5 |
| there is also ZOO for the ST. ZOO.EXE can be copied from:

This immediately raises the question:
"Where can I find STETRIS, KRABAT2 and RISKY"?
Thanks for a pointer.

*recommendations* (pointers) for good mono games?

| Is there a mono emulator that makes playing Risky reasonable ? I've
only come across poor and extremely slow mono emulators. Monoware just
goes too slowly and (if I remember correctly) utilises only a part of
the screen.

Dan,
It seems that the directory you specified does not exist.
Any typo involved?
Thanks!

Hi, I copied over and tried RISKY. Excellent game. Great
implementation. Why are there not more games like this on the ST?

| It's there - are you sure you spelled it exactly? Maybe you have the
wrong definition for MIDI. Try the following instead (and then update
your network database):
2113::A$:[DAN.PUBLIC]

Finaly last night I finished SBREAK !!!!
The statistics showed that I had played for 24 hours (ouch that was a
shock). I had an average of 40,000 points (I believe), and worst of
all my mouse started to make funny noises and now and then hesitates
to move...
Did anyone else finish it ?
(My wife did: 30 hours of playing time ;-))

Of course, I'm trying to play it on the Stacy, and you can't see the

| After waking up around midnight, I play SBREAK for a while as a sort of
warm-up/wake-up before switching to WHACK for a middle of the night login
session. I do my best thinking between 1 and 3 AM. Network and CPU bandwidth
are good then too. 191&192 were tough. Best strategy there is to get enough
lives in 190 to skip them both!
