Not beeing able to solve my problem myself, I'll try this conference. I have created a small down_line_loader program in FASTBASIC. The program simply reads an ASCII file from disk and sends it (with some modifications) to the serial port. With help of the runtime utilities I have created both an .ACC and a .PRG file to run this program. When loaded from the (A:) floppy disk the program runs OK, but when I transfer it (both the .ACC and the .PRG) to my new HARDDISC (I've also tested a friend's HD) it displays the file selector as usual but when trying to open the file for read it just hangs the CPU and nothing happens. Can anyone give me some help on this, either by looking at my program or with more experience from the FASTBASIC environment tell me what's wrong?? Are there known bugs in FASTBASIC for HD handling?? I would be happy to supply more information if needed. Regards
