Hi, I'm looking for an object oriented programming language, such as there are C++, Eiffel, Smalltalk, etc. Does anybody know about object oriented programming languages that are available for the ATARI ST ? thanks for any comments .... Marcel

Smalltalk is available from at least one public domain library in the UK - I bought a copy (3.00, the 17.50 for a book on the language!) a while back, and found that it won't run on my 520, probably due to lack of memory. STReport issue 627 has got a section on Simula which may be of interest. I don't know for certain, but surely there must be one or two implementations of C++ available for the ST by now - anyone care to comment? Chris. | |||||

I just saw G++, GNU C++, for the Atari in the terminator archives @ umich. The distribution looked very large, about 12 files. I'll try to remember to post a short article on how to access the terminator archives. Joe |
