hi,
there was a report comparing the nec with the lynx in the STREPORT a
couple of weeks ago. The author was very impressed with the nec and
very biased against the Lynx. So I dont know how much credance to put
on it.
cheers

| I bought the LYNX some months ago because I couldn't wait for the NEC
portable and now I believe that I did the right thing. The LYNX has
one advantage over NECs machine which may prove to be important,
where as the PC Engine portable was designed as a normal games console
and then modified so that it could all fit in a small box with a
miniature TV screen, the LYNX was designed as a portable and so are
the games. The far greater graphics resolution of the PC Engine is not
needed on such a small screen and this amounts to wasted memory and
also requires more processing power to animate the higher resolution
graphics. In my opinion as a portable the LYNX is capable of far
better things than NECs little wonder.
