Hi Guys, We have some troubles connecting the NEC-Multisync 2A to the ATARI 1040STE. It works well for High-Resolution , but in Low or Medium Resolution the Picture (Horizontal only) is overlaying. (Vertical-Sync seems to be O.K.) It looks like the Picture is too large and is displayed twice but shifted a half Screen-wide. Here are the Connections: COLOR: ATARI NEC ====================================================== PIN 6 (GREEN) ------------------- PIN 2 (GREEN) PIN 7 (RED) ------------------- PIN 1 (RED) PIN 10 (BLUE) ------------------- PIN 3 (BLUE) PIN 9 (H-SYNC) ------------------- PIN 13 (H-SYNC) PIN 12 (V-SYNC)------------------- PIN 14 (V-SYNC) PIN 13 (GROUND)------------------- PIN 5 (GROUND) For Mono there is a Switch-Pack in the Cable to connect Red, Green and Blue to PIN 11 (ATARI) and connect PIN 4 Monochrom-Sensor(ATARI) to Ground. So P L E A S E Help a frustrated ATARI-User

Try connecting the red, green, blue grounds. See note 40.0 for my description of hooking up the MultiSync II. -Dave |
