802.0. "CVTARC and VMS 5.x ->> Crash ??" by MGOI01::CSCHMIDT (Scio, Me Nil Scire) Tue Mar 20 1990 12:41
Hi there,
has anybody else experienced problems with CVTARC recently ??
I tried using it today, but both on my mail-cluster (All-In-1, VMS
5.1) and on a VAXstation with VMS 5.3 I got all the nice error messages
of a software crash (Access Violation, Stackdump...)
The error message was in
Module routine line relPC absPC
CVTARC main 189 00007E 0001A7E
Yes, I used the command definition like CVT :== $work$dir:cvtarc.
Does anybody know whether it needs to be relinked with VMS 5 or
VAXC ??
If so, could you make an .exe available please ?!
Cheers,
Chris

| If you do not specify a file name on the command line cvtarc will crash in
exactly the manner you describe.
