I notice that one of the replies to note 442 mentions a file
PRNSYS::DUA1:[LOMICKAJ.HOBBY.ST]MONITOR.TXT which contains
instructions on how to connect a VR241 terminal to an ATARI ST.
WHen trying to access this file I get "invalid device". Does
anybody know where the file has gone.
Any help appreciated,

I hate to be a nuisance but, even if I specify DUA2:, I get "invalid
device". The command I am using is ...
$ DIR PRNSYS::DUA2:[LOMICKAJ.HOBBY.ST]MONITOR.TXT

The network database on MINDER:: is about six months out of date. PRNSYS is address 5.199, no longer 6.986, as is listed in your database. (I used NCP to check.) Please get your network database updated and try again. If you can't get your network database updated, use the number 5319::DUA2:, instead of the name PRNSYS. | |||||
