| FALCON flys over with with the official TOS 1.4 in PROM (04/06/89).
Let's not start nasty incompatibility rumors... :-) Strange.

It does not even load completely with my TOS 1.4 ! Somewhen in between
the machine hangs.

| I'd like to dispel an incompatibility rumor:
PC-DITTO V3.01 works with TOS V1.4... however, COREFAST doesn't work
with PC-DITTO.

| I can't believe it! Indy - action DOES work with TOS 1.4!
I took my 520 with 1.4 to the store to ensure that a replacement game
would work on my system. We tried the Indiana Jones - action game that
I intended to return and it worked on MY machine with their SS external
drive. I took it home and it's the same old story - 3 bombs shortly
after the game screen comes up. I've tried two different DS and one SS
drive. It worked on their MEGA with internal DS drive and with their SS
drive - but none of my drives. I also tried going back to TOS 1.0 on my
system and it still bombs.
I don't know what's going on but Indiana Jones - Action appears NOT to
have a problem with TOS 1.4 in spite of the Lucas support line saying
there is. Evidently they had no way to test and just assumed my problem
was fact.

| TOS 1.4 has a documented bug that may be causing problems. There is a
patch program available. Gnif is supplying one call shell_fix (sp) on
their Neodesk disk. I don't remeber the specifics but will post it if
anyone wants it. It seems to help at the problem I was having with
CZandroid.
I really feel TOS 1.4 is worth it....wouldn't live without it.
Atari finally sent me the TOS 1.4 release notes last week (license
developers).
By the way...I'm still having problem with Neodesk printer queue
accessory.....anyone else. I don't know if it has anything to do with
TOS 1.4.
P.S. The only other bug documented was the RS232 CTS/RTS problem they
"re-introduced".
