| DAK used to sell such a beast for $19.95. I have one. Michtron sells
a software package that controls it. I don't know of any PD ones available.

| On the UTILITIES.009 disk in the NAVAUS library is a program called X10DEMO
which claims to allow programming the X-10 from your ST.

657.4 | You need some peice of hardware to connect house wiring | OLDTMR::WALLACE | | Mon Nov 13 1989 15:36 | 14 |
| I have not used the X10DEMO software nor have I ever used X10
modules/controllers so I can't offer any other information. Also since I am no
longer the maintainer of that library I do not have the resources to try out
the program or read the documentation (if any) on it.
However it does sound like you need some kind of controller which modulates
the commands out onto your 110v house wiring. The ST can not do that without
some added hardware. I presume that the program in question "merely" sends
appropriate commands out over the serial line to the controller which it
assumes is going to in turn pass the commands out onto the house wiring.
Sorry,
Ray (ST notes moderator, ex-ABACUS librarian :-)
