I'm going to Colorado for two weeks and eventually have some spare time
to do some 'ST-related' shoping. Somebody around who knows a shop in the
DENVER/COLORADO area offering ST software and hardware ?

YES!
There is Horizon Computers on Colorado Blvd in Downtown Denver.
This store has just about everything available for Atari and they only
deal in Atari stuff. They have a division which is a distributor for
Atari software for stores across the country. They even have some
homegrown stuff like a short cheap mouse extension cord and a light gun
for the 8bit Ataris.
Other stores listed in the phone book only have a small selection
of Atari stuff amongst the PC and Apple items.

In Colorado Springs area Citadel Computers has two locations.The
easiest to get to is at the Southgate Shopping Center.In the Denver
area Horizon Computers is the best one to go to.
