Hi, I heard rumors that somebody in DEC designed an interface board to connect a normal VCR to the Atari, to use it as a streaming device for harddisk backups. Where can I get hold of it? Bernd

I don't know about anyone in DEC, but there is a commercial product that does it. Maybe someone can supply the name, address, phone # and product name? -Dave | |||||

Yup, and here 'tis: DVT - VCR Seymor/Radix, Inc. PO Box 166055 Irving, TX 75016 (214) 823-5797 List price is $250. Discount shops mark it for ~$180. Has special box, s/w, and RCA phone cable. There may be more, but this is the one seen in the DC area (Mid-Atlantic). |
