Hi everyone,
I have a useful little program which shows me chords on both a
fretboard and a keyboard and outputs the chord via midi. All you
have to do is select the chord for which you want to know the fingering
and it brings it up on the screen. Great, but there are one or two
drawbacks. One it only runs in low res and of course two it is a
.PRG program. This means that when you have your favourite sequencer
loaded up you cannot use the chord-finder without exiting. A bit
of a nuisance you'll no doubt agree !!
My question is, does anyone know of an .ACC file that will perform
a similar function (ie show chord structures etc.). It would be
wonderfully useful.
Thanks
Jonathan

I've heard of an utility which allows you to start every .prg from/as
an accessory. Maybe somebody has more infos or a pointer where to find
it.

Bernd,
Are you talking about Flexcessory? It allows you to run PRG files as if they
were desk accessories.

I don't know about Flexcessory, though it sounds really interesting.
Is it PD and if not where is it available from and how much please.
To answer your question though really what i am looking fr is a
chord dictionary/display program that will work in medium res and
be accessible without leaving my sequencer. Ie available as a desk
accessory. The chord program I have is okay but only runs in low
res and is a bit simplistic. It does output the chord via midi which
is nice but since all my music applications are medium res it becomes
too much of a nuisance to use most of the time.
Thanks for the interest.
