Mark.
There are at least 2 other ST users in the Warrington area possibly
more. Myself and Derek Kay. AS to good places for upgrades if you
look in one of the comics. I.E. ST world. There is a place up the
road in Widnes(or was it Wigan) that seems to specialise. Sorry
can't remember the name though.

| Paul,
Thanks very much for the information...I'll have a good look
around for that place you mention. Good to know I'm not in a minority
here - I shall endeavour to keep in contact with both you and Derek.
Thanks very much
Mark.

| I am not actually in Warrington but I had my 520 upgraded at Ladbroke
Computing in Preston (don't ask me what I was doing there!). This
was done at a reasonable price and within one day. Also (touch wood)
I have had no problems with it.
Hope this helps
Gary.

| Hi,
Yep, I'll recommend Ladbroke as well, the sales staff seem a bit
sharp but if you get to talk to the older guys there, they seem
more friendly. They did my 1Mb upgrade in an afternoon, very
reasonably.
As for anything softwarewise, Bits & Bytes in Central station liverpool
have a good selection of software (a bit gamey but better upstairs).
There used to be a computer junk shop in widnes, but that was a
long time ago.
Cheers

| Hi Mark,
There are two ST users here at the NLC, John McDonnel 3700 and
me Phillip Walker (note the double LL, or the mail never arrives)
ext 3668. If you decide to do the job yourself, I am willing to
help, as I know one end of an iron from the other. If you want to
talk ST, mail or call me. Bye, and happy expansion.
Phil.
