| The Rainbow color monitor is the VR241. This is an old subject.
Details of the installation are in PRNSYS::DUA1:[LOMICKAJ.HOBBY.ST]MONITOR.TXT.
These instructions apply equally well to the BARCO monitors that were
used in the days of VT125 and GIGI.

Yes it is possible, I am using one currently.
You will have to make up a lead from the 12 way ST din connector to the
3 colors R G B and also to the external sync. It is neccessary to
combine the Atari horizontal and vertical sync together with diodes and
resistors (220ohm) to produce a composite sync.

| I've ammended MONITOR.TXT to include the phone number and name of the
obscure place in Pennsylvania that sells the 13-pin DIN connector I
used. The changed text is:
I obtained one of those 13-pin DIN connectors from "At Your
Service" somewhere near McKeesport, PA, 412-335-4477.

The 13-pin DIN connector plug can also be obtained from Maplin
Electonics in the UK (0702 554161). The part number is JW95D.
