I have a friend (honest) who is stuck in a game called SHADOWGATE
(sp?). He wants to know how to get past the dog that is looking
after the platinum horn.
Can anyone help ???????

Is there already a version of SHADOWGATE for the ST ?
I don't think so. So you better look in the GAMES notes for help.

Sorry to be so unhelpful but it IS out on the ST (at least 5-6 months),
and I havn't got that far yet. A friend has finished it and I will
ask him when I see him.

Tell your friend to use the holy water he should have found back
in the laboratory. 'Open' the bottle and 'operate' it on the
dog,(hellhound, actually). That should get him past the dog.
