363.0. "The B.I.G. Demo anyone ?" by INCH::BADMAN (The silicon chip inside her head!) Wed Jan 04 1989 07:07

Does anyone have a copy of TEX's BIG demo (BIG = Best In Galaxy?

Since it is PD, anyone care to load it onto the system?

I've got the first 3 TEX demo's which I intend to load onto the
system as soon as I can.

363.1Got It!YARD::BADMANThe silicon chip inside her head!Wed Jan 11 1989 09:5024
I've now got it from a friend.

It really is the BEST demo I've ever seen ... well over two hours
of music on a single sided disk.

Some good stuff such as ZOOLOOK, and a few classical tunes are there,
along with a TV theme tune, The Stripper and the Goldrunner theme
    tune (Human Race 4).

Also some incredible use of colour and scrolling, and six bonus
    digitised tracks.

Might have a bit of trouble uploading it though since the files
are packed onto the disk a bit tightly.

The scrolling message at the bottom of the screen also takes over
two hours to read. Rumour has it that instructions are included
at the end of the message telling how the effects were achieved.
You're better off leaving your Atari on for 1 hour and 45 minutes
while you go and watch TV however, else your eyesight may deteriorate.
