| | The LCP01, now known as LCG01, accepts ReGis, GIDIS, NAPLPS, UIS
and Colour Sixels. Does VTNEO produce colour sixels?

| | I know you can render UIS files (/DEV=LCG01), but is there an
easier way? As far as getting (color) .NEO to UIS or SIXEL files
    that would be GREAT!

| | Yes VTneo produces a VT240 color sixel output. Why don't you just
    try. ?
    Good luck,

| | Hi,

    I did, I did !!

I actually got an image out of the lcp01, unfortunately it is half
size. Apparently there is a escape sequence, what I can put in the
sixel file header, which will double the size, (if only I new what
it is). any offers??? . Also the color rendering is a bit pukey,
all the background is matt black.

Its the first time I have actually seen the LCP01 "burst" ?? into
life and do its thing. Its quite frightening, with the whirring
and hissing of the vacuum system, and then the couple of minute
wait while the drum spins and the carriage scans.
Even if the output was crud, the experience was worth while!!

    Back to the drawing board.

    Cheers

    Pat K.

| 317.5 | SIXEL file aspect ratio change | MRSVAX::MISKINIS |  | Wed Nov 30 1988 12:53 | 5 |
| | In the first line of the sixel file (edit it), look for the
escape sequence that ends in lowercase Q (<ESC>somethingq) and
change the number before the q to 9.

    Let me know...

just what you did and will it work to a lj250 as well. I 've got
ST520 & DEGAS ELITE. What else do I need and where can it be obtained.
I have Uniterm and Kermit set up. NODE::ERIC.

    Thanks in advance.

    	Hi Patrick,

Where can I find the VTNEO.EXE NEO to SIXEL converting file?

We have LJ250 and LCP's here at DECdirekt and would like to
show some good printout as demonstration set.

I use a 1040ST with ICTERM and Kermit to connect.

I got a file called CSIX.EXE to convert IFF and HAM files into
    	Sixel.
If any interrest drop me a VAXMAIL please no " ALL IN ONE "
    	and I make it available.
    	It should be in RTOIC::$1$dua7:<hschoening.a1.picture>

I hope I don't forget to change the protection.

    	With binary regards,

    		George
