In case you haven't heard, Neil Harris just announced his
resignation from Atari and will be going to work for the Genie
network.
Neil gave Atari 4 wks notice. Atari suggested that Neil leave
right away.

looks like it. Not even the traditional 2 weeks. Sounds like a
disagreement with one of the Tramiels. They must be fun folks to
work for, based on all the firing, resignations, etc.
Roy Good and Alan Pratt seem to have taken over the role of
semi-official voice of Atari on Usenet. Maybe Neil made some
comment that was contrary to the company line.
