| Yeah, I wonder if Kevin Strahlo will be as rude to Max Toy as he
was to Trameil?
It was interesting to watch the host treat John Sculley with reverence
after seeing him interrupt Trameil at every opportunity.
It was also fun to watch Jean Louis-Gassee of Apple hang the Mac
II a few times. Kevin Strahlo coyly asked 'Is this thing shipping
yet?"

| semi-live demos are always fun. I remember Kevin's comments
of behind-the-scene elves doing things while Sam T. and him
waited for the ST to be switched from demoing CAD-3D to demoing
some hi-res monochome program.
I've also thought the phone-in segment was even better than
Kevin's comments. They can ask any sort of rude, biased, naive,
question - that's a great test of how fast you can think up a
diplomatic answer. And no demo to hide behind.
I loved the pro-Amiga questions asked of ibmpc software and hardware
developers... that bewildered look of "what's an Amiga?".
At least they won't soon forget that experience.

The Computer show is on from 10:30 - 11:00 on sunday nights
not 10-11. They cut the length so they can move the show into other
station around the country. With it they cut things like the phone
in segment 8-(.

| I dunno, I think they dropped the phone-in segment shortly after
one caller asked the female host if she had ever had sex on live
television.
Ed.
PS: She never answered the question...guess we'll never know.
