Hello everyone, A quick query. My son has need of a graph plotting program, to avoid re-inventing the wheel, has anyone written/seen one in the P.D. ?? He is more interested in line graphs, lin/lin, lin/log and log/log, with smoothing, than in the usual business pie chart and barchart presentations. P.S. we do use the notes file !! ( see previous note) Cheers Pat Keane.

I wrote a simple minded package to plot functions in Lattuce C. It's based on the design in Newman and Sproull's "Principles of Interactive Computer Graphics", which includes functions like MoveTo and LineTo. It doesn't do logs, charts, or anything. I could upload the source if you think it would help. Larry | |||||

Sorry I didn't notice this a year + ago, but - better late than never: A PD program titled Plotfit written in GFABasic is around. It does log, log-log, etc. plots - point-to-point or straight line approximations (no splines/curves). It's in the Abacus library. Warning: it's NOT what I'd call user friendly. - Chris |
