46.1 | Does Degas do mono? | MAST::WALLACE | | Wed Apr 20 1988 22:53 | 3 |
| I thought Degas worked in mono (ie: .PI3 pictures) as well as color?

| Degas or Degas Elite should work just fine.

Well, I know that Degas Elite will work in monochrome mode. Can't
vouch for sure about Degas. I use it all the time in monochrome
to reverse the RLE stock data I get from CompuServe so I don't waste
my ribbon printing tons of white-on-black graphics.

46.5 | No problem with Degas, either | MSDSWS::PALMER | Ed Palmer @JMO, DTN 356-6612 | Fri Apr 22 1988 11:18 | 0 |

| Well, I hunted around and finally found my copy of Degas, and it works
great in monochrome. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't use my
print screen desk accessory with it, but solved that problem by writing
something that could read the .PI3 files and do whatever I please with
them (in this case, put it in a window so that I can use my favorite
print screen desk accessory).
Thanks for the advice.
