1107.0. "Info on musical Beauty & the Beast" by UTROP1::BOUWMANS_J () Sun Feb 02 1997 14:33

    Hi,

    Can anyone provide me information on the Musical version of "Beauty
    and the Beast". I have sheet music but I don't know anything on
    the background of this production:
    - when (still being played?)
    - where
    - who
    - etc.

    Any info appreciated.

    John.

Are you talking about the Disney version? (Which is playing currently on
Broadway as far as I know...)

1107.3Yes, the Disney versionUTROP1::BOUWMANS_JMon Feb 03 1997 14:498
    Yes, I mean the Disney version. In the sheet music I can see that the
    musical contains more songs than the cartoon version. Composer is Alan
    Menken. Copyright on the cartoon film music shows 1991, this musical
    version is dated 1994, so it must be pretty recent.

    Any additional info?

    John.

    Thanks! I haven't got access to the Internet currently but your
    extract gave me just the information I needed (and more than I hoped
    for).
