    My husband and I went to a cat show a couple of weeks ago in Fitchburg. 
    We fell in love with the Maine Coons.  They are so big and so
    adorable!!
    
    I've read all the back notes on these cats, but a lot of them are
    out-dated.  I'm looking for some good books on this breed of cat.  I
    checked out the book-stores in our area (Fitchburg/Leominster), but
    couldn't find anything.
    
    Also, if anyone knows any breeders nearby, that would be helpful.  The
    ones at the Fitchburg show were all from New York/New Jersey area. 
    We're looking for pet quality cats.

    Cheryl and Bob Kearns of Yarmouthport raise Maine Coons and they have
    some gorgeous cats.  There is also a breeder in Cohasset -- name
    escapes me at the moment but you could probably look her up in the
    breeder section of Cat Fancy or Cats.
    
    Cherrybrook, a wholesale company in New Jersey, has a book on Maine
    Coons.  The order number is 32-263.  The book is entitled, "This is the
    Maine Coon Cat", and you can place your order by calling 800-524-0820
    between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. EST.

        That Yankee Cat - the Maine Coon is one I have.   I can get the
    specifics, I found my copy in a Lauriet book store.  Where are you?
    
    Glad you found those coons!!!  They really steal your heart, you'll
    never get it back!

    I live in Ashburnham and have been looking in Book Stores in the
    Fitchburg/Leominster area.  Where are the Lauriet Book Stores? 
    Isn't there one in Framingham?
    
    You're right about those Coons?  Ever since I saw them, I can't get
    them off my mind (not that I want to).  The one I saw at the Cat Show
    was this 7-month old 15 pounder. Absolutely Adorable!!!

      Oh,  I was so crazy today, I forgot to get you the info. on the book.
    I'll try to bring it in tomorrow.  As far as Lauriets, I thought they
    were in all malls, they seem to be in my area (Haverhill, Methuen).
