| Then there was the time I was munching goldfish crackers while I was
tossing Pounces to the boys. Next thing I knew, I was munching
Pounces and tossing the crackers. Funny, they seemed to like that
arrangement...
Boy those things taste gross....

reminds of a funny story.. we just moved a little bit ago..
and I put up vertical blinds.. I leave vanes open on them, during
the day.. I arrive home 1 nite last week to find them "drawn
back.. I of course figured I must have done that .. no big deal..
Well the other nite I was in the quiet room( my den).. I came out
the sun has just gone down.. so I closed the blinds..
I got invloved doing some "chores" and as I entered the living
room to find KISSY standing on her hind legs.. drawing back the
vertical blinds .. With Happy watching her quite intently..
talking away.. I am assuming giving her directions and encouragement..
of course I did ask Kissy what she thought she was doing..!!!
andas I caled her name "KISSY WHAT ARE YOU DOING she responded
in EXOTIC WHAT MOM?.. GO AWAY CANT YOU SEE I AM BUSY..GEESCH
THESE HUMANS..!!! and I tried everything to distract her,, treats, toys
playing .. and she would not buy in.. she was going to
pull those blinds back.. geesch.. it was funny to see her with
cord in her mouth,,, and balanced in hers and her yanking away..
strong little dickens..!!!

4989.7 | The terror kitten strikes again | TOOK::DUGAL | Lisa | Tue Oct 08 1991 18:44 | 36 |
| I told this to a few friends and one of them has been urging me to enter it
into the notesfile. This topic's title about fits it, so here's the story....
Yesterday afternoon, I left work early and went home sick. Once home, I tried
to get some sleep on the couch. Of course, since I've got a cold, I fell
asleep with my mouth open (and unprotected).
The first time I was woken up was by a very excited puppy who decided to like
my face to death. Yuk! After settling the puppy down, it was now the Tasha,
the terror kitten's, turn. I had fallen back asleep only to be woken up this
time by a kitten's paw stuffed in my mouth. Apparently Tasha though she'd try
playing a little tonsil hockey or something. I explained to Tasha that she
shouldn't do that to mom. Now, back to sleep, only to be woken up to
someone throwing pillows at me. No, it's not someone, it's Tasha. She decided
she didn't like all the pillows I put on the back of the couch and was pushing
them down on me. Fine, I remove all the pillows and go back to sleep. Now,
I'm startled awake for the 4th time by the sound of one of the window quilts
coming down at high speed and a startled kitten cry. I looked over to see
Tasha hanging way up in the air by the end of the cord. Apparently, she though
the cord would be fun to play with and while playing, she released the catch on
the quilt and down came the window quilt and up went the cord and kitty. After
helping Tasha down, I tried to get some again. Only to be waking to a splash
sound. Somewhere in the back of mind, I was screaming, "moron, you left the
toilet lid up." Sure enough, I did, and Tasha decided to take advantage of it
by going for her daily swim. Now, I have a wet soggy kitten trying to stretch
out on top of me to dry.
It was obvious I was not getting any rest, so I turned on the TV. After awhile,
Tasha came over and bonked me in the face with her head. I asked her what she
wanted and she gave me that innocent kitten look and BURPED at me!
I'm now positive that if Tasha could talk and you asked her what she wanted
to be when she grows up, she would answer....A TERRORIST!

You mean I'm not the only one who has gotten paws in the mouth?
Mine usually happens when I'm trying to get to sleep and someone is
trying to get comfortable on my pillow with me. :-)

| Glad everyone liked the story. I've got about 100 more. It's amazing what
2 little terrorist pets can get into (I have a puppy and a kitten). There's
never a dull moment around the house!
You just gotta love the little furfaces!
