4981.0. "MANX KITTY AT MK01" by AIMHI::OFFEN () Fri Oct 04 1991 13:03

Has anyone seen the grey tiger-striped Manx kitty in the MK01 parking
lot?? I saw her last night around 6:30 in lot #4. She was *very*
talkative and looked very hungry. She was lapping up something in the
lot but I couldn't tell what it was. Hopefully not anti-freeze. I saw
that she had a collar and name tag on but couldn't get near enough to
read it. She almost came to me once but than ran into the trees.

Does anyone know anything about this kitty?? I hope she is a lost one.

I haven't seen the cat, but if she was so vocal about being hungery,
maybe you could bribe her to come to you with some food so that you
could check out her name tag?

    Hi,

Yup, I saw the manx in the MK01 LOT 9 parking area on Wednesday
    morning - a little after 7:00 a.m.. I tried getting her/him to come
to me, but instead she/he stopped, looked and then went off in the
    other direction.

I haven't seen it since! Will keep an eye out, though.

Now that you mention it, I saw a young girl (around 13 yrs old)
walking near the highway entrance to MK1 with a dark colored kitten
in her arms. It just seemed strange to me to see a girl carrying a
"very scared" kitten in her arms in that area. I almost stopped and
questioned it, but did (sorry). It might be her cat and she was
talking it home I think it was Tuesday or Wednesday late afternoon
    (4:30) when I saw them.

Sorry I can't be of more help. I have a feeling it lives in the
homes near by, but it won't be around too long if it keeps crossing
    the highway entrance.
