| I'm not sure what you mean. Theoretically you can "attach" a
particular editor to the notes file for yourself (set profile
something, I think) but I never got it to work for emacs. On the other
hand, if you already have a "plain text" file, you can insert it in a
note: start the note with "write" or "reply", then hit PF4, then type
"include file" followed by a carriage return and notes will prompt you
for the filename.

This is a WPS file.
I use WPS as the editor with ALL-IN-1.
There is an ALL-IN-1 interface which comes with ALL-IN-1 called GPC (Group
conferencing)
Go into that, and when you reply, there is a choice to reply normally, or
else to include a document from your file cabinet.
It's menu driven, and I find it very easy.
