4878.0. "2 strays need the home" by CPDW::ADAMEK () Mon Aug 26 1991 11:45
I am looking for the home for 2 tomcats who have been dumped by their owner
a last summer. They had been once spoiled (together with another 3 cats)
until their owner (a lady who loved cats very much) had moved to the
apartment where was not allow to keep pets. She put two of them to sleep
and 3 males left behind. Just like that. I have feed them but I could not
take them home because of my own 2 cats. Now I am going to move out as
well. My moving day will be this Friday. I hate to leave them behind again.
They depend on me. They come every morning and every night for food. One of
them is very friendly, second is a little shy. Both of them would need TLC
so that they would begin to trust people again. If there is someone who
would be willing to take some of them home please contact me at DTN
223-8301 or CPDW::Adamek. Even if I am broke now, because we have bought
the townhouse and our closing is this week, I am willing to pay for
some Vet's bills such as Feline Leukemia test, neuter them and so on.
Here are descriptions:
Both are around 3 years old,
one (the friendliest one) is very huge/fat, orange, medium-long haired,
second is purge black, short haired with a nice green ayes.
Both are very nice looking cats, they just need some grooming and, of
course, checkup at the Vet.
I am aware of that Conference is full of cats or kittens looking for
new homes but I had to at least tried to help those cats.
Thanks,
Jana

| Jana,
I wish I could help but I already have 5 cats (2 former strays) and no
room for more.
It would help if you say where you are located. I understand how you
feel. No-one should just *leave a cat behind* when they move.
Good luck in your endeavors. If you can't find a home, would one of
the other neighbors take over the feeding of these two boys.
By the by, Two were put to sleep and two are now outside. Where is
the fifth?

| Sorry, I did not put detail information. The cats are males. They are
not neutered at this time but I would let them fixed and test again
Feline Leukemia before I would take them somewhere. Until end of this
week, I live in Winchendon, Mass. I would bring them anywhere if
someone would like to take them.
The option that someone from my neiborghood would take care of them
is unrealizable. Unfortunately, there is nobody who would be willing
to feed them. I was also thinking about that. The most people from
my neighborhood hardly give proper care to their own pets.
The third one was also male. He's been apparently wise enough and
has taken full advantage of two homes. But it's not be excuse for
the lady who moved out because she did not know that. I also learnt
that later after her moving.
