Just a word of warning to all animal lovers/owners in and around Derry NH. There seems to be a woman (name withheld) who has appointed herself a Humane Society of One. She goes around *claiming* supposedly abused or mal-nourished dogs and cats and *rescues* them. I know this much. The chow she *confiscated* was in no way malnourished or abused. A woman in the vicinity is now missing her much loved cat who is also not malnourished. The area that she is *working* is near and around Lawrence St in Derry. The chow has since been returned to his rightful (and very happy) owners. Please keep a good eye on your babies if you live in the area. Sandi (who would *kill* if someone touched her babies)

In answer to all 3 of the replies... Woman's name is known but can't post it here.... She is not a teenager. She's in her mid-40's. Police have been notified and they are investigating. I just wanted to make everyone aware of this situation so that they could keep a good eye on their babies. Will keep you informed if/when I hear more.
