(Penelope Greene).
A warning though: Pennie will make you sign a contract requiring that
the cat be kept indoors only to ensure it's safety.

| Two other short haired cats, similar to a Russian Blue, or
the Korat and Chartreux. I personally have a Korat, and will
be breeding this fall. Since I'm prejudiced about my Korat,
of course I'm going to promote her! ;^) Chartreux are just
as beautiful, but I'm partial to blue/silver-blue cats!
Also, ALL Korat breeders (not sure about Chartreux) will make you
sign an agreement stating that the cat will be indoor, and not
declawed.
I just happen to have my "Cat Fancy" at work today. There is a
cattery in Buffalo, NY listed for Russian Blues, but that doesn't
mean there aren't some in your area.
There is a cat show in Mansfield, MA on August 10-11 (CFF),
August 24-25, Merrimack, NH (CFA) - Good times Roller Skating Center;
they might have some Russian Blue breeder!

They have terrific personalities, and have that beautiful
silver-blue coloring.....

| You can find Penny Greene's phone number in Cat Fancy in the breeder's
directory. If you have trouble finding it let me know via Vaxmail
and I'll send it to you.
I have been to Penny's cattery and I can vouch for her cats. Her
place is immaculate and her cats are all very healthy, happy and
well cared for. Ask her about "Hopey cat" - her russian blue alter.
Hopey has been quite a star at some of the CFF shows I've been at.
Certainly a cat I don't mind losing to. And Penny is the sort
of breeder you want to do business with.

p.s. I bought some used cages and cage curtains from her to use for
my own cats so that should give you an idea of how much I trust the
health of her cats.
