| Mike -
Number 27 (or was he number 28? - they're littermates) on your list
came home with me Friday after work. He went to the vet this morning
and got a clean bill of health along with his second round of vaccines.
I haven't named him yet, but with that great big "M" on his forehead
will play a part in choosing one.
Keep up the good work!
Terry
P.S. Hoover loves him but Nymets is afraid of him!

| Mike,
I'll certainly pass this info. along to others. I've also posted your
adoption notices for both cats and dogs on our bulletin board here at
CTS.
Do you have sponsoring of pets until they are adopted at the shelter?
Some people who may not be able to adopt for one reason or another, may
be willing to sponsor them until they are adopted, helping with some of
the shelter's costs for keeping an animal until a home is found.

| Mike,
You might have mentioned this in here before, but I was wondering what
sort of Felv test the shelter performs on the cats. Is it a blood test
or a tear/saliva test?
I have a cat adopted from Nashua Humane and my vet asked if he had
been felv tested at the shelter. I knew he had, but wasn't certain
what type of test was performed so I had her draw blood and re-do the
test just to be safe. It was negative, just like the shelter's
results. :^)
To clarify -- we weren't doubting the shelter... Taja has a small,
fibrous lump on 2 of his lymph nodes and we wanted to re-do the test as
a precautionary measure and test for fiv at the same time.

| We do the blood test. I understand your hesitation on the second test,
but you could easily have called the shelter or had your vet call for
the results -- we keep records. The tests are administered under the
guidance of a veterinarian from Ferry Rd. Animal Hopsital so it's done
properly. Congratulations on your new addition!
