    Well let's take them one at a time.
    
    Mocha comes to you on his own terms, and when he wants to, and has to lay
    on you, and be right up in your face and closes his eyes and purrs with
    this high pitch purr like the whine of a jet engine and gets so wrapped
    up in what he is doing starts to drool all over you. When he is good
    and sloppy he wants to head butt your face. We never discourage this
    as he does it so seldom compared to the two himmies.
    
    Pricess Char-Ming comes over to you to be picked up and looks at you
    with these beautiful blue eyes in an ewok face. (Who could resist?)
    She wants you to hold her and pet her softly and she does these little
    "pigion coos" and purrs at the same time. She is constantly looking
    into your face all this time and her eyes just show how much she adores
    you.
    
    Mr. Miyagi is my velcro cat. He came to us with this mouse which
    is his favoite toy and is has a long shoe lace tied around it's 
    neck and I bought him another one like with but this one has a pink
    ribbon around it's neck with a bell. When you are comfortably situated
    on the couch, chair or bed he runs and gets his shoe string mouse and
    from the minute he picks it up till he gets it to your feets he is
    constantly talking in this low tone. This is very funny to watch as
    the has to walk down the stairs carrying this mouse in his mouth,
    talking 
    and making sure the shoe lace stays between all four legs length wise
    so he doesn't trip and fall. (This low talking is Mings cue to stay
    by the bottom of the stairs and pounce on the shoe string as Miyagi
    walks past.) This sometimes results in his being stopped on the spot
    as he WILL NOT let go of his mouse until it's at your feet. After
    this one is safetly at your feet he goes and gets the other one and
    lays that at your feet and jumps up into your lap and does head butts
    and purrs up a storm and kneads.
    
    I'm sure as each one of us replies to this note it will bring a
    warm feeling to your heart and a smile to your face to tell others
    how your pet loves you. (It really  won't mean as much to the reader
    as it does to the writer.)

    	Squeeky will softly bite my arm in the morning, to wake
    	me up. Other than that, she keeps to herself, except for
    	those rare and honorable occasions when she sits in my lap.
    
    	Katie is still oblivious to the world around her, all that
    	exists is within two feet around her...When she does notice
    	us, she'll give a little chirrup, as if to say, `Ah, there
    	you are!', before going back to kitten world...
    
    	Sara is my little buggy-boo...when she's standing on the counter,
    	if I make kissy-noises, she'll hop up and bump my face. She sleeps
    	draped over my neck, pushing her head under my chin, and purrrrrrs!
    	She is by far more affectionate than the other two put together,
    	every day we have a little cuddle session, she presses herself
    	into my arms, and purrs, kneads, drools, and snuggles away! She
    	won't do any of this with my husband, only me. She's very special.

    #1 PIPPIN
    
    Well, If we're up walking around she gets around our legs (in-and-out)
    and starts talking to us - head butts and will keep following us (its a
    game) and then will just plop down on our feet.
    
    If its bed time she gets between us - gets on her back and starts
    kneeding the air - then comes and walks on our chest(s) and does the
    purrrr/face sniff - then plops back down between us and she's then
    ready for petting, stroking and loving - she gives kisses the entire
    time and sleeps between us all nite.

    The talker (Siamese) will start the conversation and then starts
    chasing us talking the whole time - we sort of ignore to get him going
    so then he starts letting us have it verbally - he'll proceed to do the
    leg climbing routine - his blue eyes big and wide and he then gets
    picked up and we sit down.  By this time hes purring so loud it sounds
    like hes gonna choke.  He loves to be massaged in the "arm pits" while
    I've got him on his back - he goes totally limp - this cat loves
    massages.  He's not a kisser so when I get one I consider myself lucky
    - he loves to head butt.

    The drooler - usually at about 4-5 in the a.m. he'll come and wake me
    up, get under the covers and start to kneed my arm pit all the time
    sucking on the material of my pj's.  He kneeds and sucks and purrs for
    about 20 minutes - then he gets up on my chest and drool hits me right
    in the face - by this time I really need to get up and take a shower! 
    He does one thing that really gets to me (and everyone else) - if you
    hold your had out in front of you while he's walking towards you he'll
    proceed to walk towards you on his hind legs and come up to meet your
    hand and sor of buck into it.  He just started doing this on his own
    one day - much to our surprise.  He too rarely gives kisses, just lots
    of drool!

Miss Moffet will grab a head between her paws, claws firmly sunk into
    the scalp, and clean and nuzzel the hair.  This goes on for about
    10 mins.  It hurts!
    
    Mr Guido Tiggerini gives great big love bites on the hand, usually
    when you are asleep.  As he considers an awake human is an idle
    human and must be put to good use, he takes (not askes) for attention..
                                       
    Charlie just drools when he is happy and purrs all the time.

    Scruffy,
    
    	Will roll and roll and lay on her back till you scratch it for her
    all the way up and all the way down.  Will weave in and out of your
    legs and ya better stand still or you'll fall!!!!!!!!!!
    
    	When she's up in my lap it leaning against my tummy as if she has
    to get close to me as much as possible.  She purrs at these times, very
    deeply and in a cooing fashion.
    
    	At nite, when she feels like sleeping in (lately) it's too get
    imbetween us and see whoever feels the most comfortable.  For me,
    she'll get in the crook of my arm and if she could have her way, I'd be
    scratching her tummy all nite.  She'll lick my hand up and down and get
    into her deep sleep.........

    Sweetie sleeps with his head on my shoulder.
    Holly is a lap/chest cat.
    Little Bit (1) stretches his nose out to touch mine, and
    (2) runs to Authorized Petting Zones (he considers the living room and
    dining room rugs and the two beds to be legal areas;  for reasons
    known only to him, other areas are not acceptable) and plops
    dowm and extends his chin at just the right angle to be rubbed.
    

    Cocoa and Pandora compete for shower time - Panda comes in first, waits
    for me to get out, then rubs her nose against mine as much as I'm
    willing to do it, purring the entire time - Then, it's Cocoa's turn,
    she comes running in while I carry Panda out to the bed, then she
    winds herself around my legs, jumps on the sink, bumps my face, hands,
    anything she can reach, purring as loud as she can.
    
    Muff gives love anywhere anytime!  If you just *look* like you might
    pat him he's over in a flash! And he won't leave until you get sick of
    the game, no matter how long it takes!
    
    Oscar, all you have to do is talk with him and he'll start purring and
    rolling all around, upside down, side to side, looking as silly as he
    can!  He likes to be picked up and will wrap his paws around your neck
    in a great hug!

    Linus will accept love only when he's sleepy or ready to get a snack!! 
    He'd much rather play with Mr. Rat than go for that mushy stuff.  But I
    love when he does...usually in the morning before I feed him he waits
    for me to get out of the shower and he lays upside down to show me his
    big belly (which I may not touch).  But, when he sees me step out he
    gives me those little squinty eyes that I love and he starts kneading
    the air.  So, I pet his little head and give his little mouth a kiss. 
    He lets me know when he's had enough...he usually starts giving himself
    his own bath.

    Rocky- he is a quiet loving kind of guy, he'll wait quietly underfoot,
    looking up with big eyes, until he is picked up. Then the soft purring
    and chirruping starts.  Rocky will also sit on back of the couch, and lean
    over (reminding me of the old Snoopy vulture cartoons) so he can lick my 
    face. He also will lick my face other times, when he's being carried.
    He's so understated, that when he's affectionate, it's so wonderful.
    
    Corky-Lynne is very vocal, meowing lots and lots when she wants
    something, and then loves it when she's petted.  She lies on her back too,
    and loves tummy rubs. When allowed in the bedroom, she'll lie right
    next to the pillow and purr..

    Ralph shows his love by rubbing his head with either my head or my
    husband's.  
    
    One thing that he only does with me is while I'm lying in bed he goes to
    the back of my neck and kneads my neck and suckles my hair while
    purring.  It's really weird!  But when he kneads my neck it feels so
    good (like a furface messuirs (sp?).
    
    Alice isn't as quite as affectionate as Ralph but her "love time" is
    definitely in the morning.  She'll come wake me up by purring in my
    ear - she loves to sit next to me while I'm getting ready at the
    vanity and watch and nuzzle me.  (She is such a LADY!)  She also likes to 
    suckle.  
    
    At first I thought maybe she was taken away from her mother to young but 
    know I think that she thinks she's cleaning me (one hand washes the other)?
    
    

Missy Hannah comes to me asking for "Hannahbrush"...when I'm in the
bathroom, she jumps up on the counter and pushes her brush to me while
asking nicely for a brush...actually, she sorta says, "brrrumph?", but
I know what she means.  As I brush her, she purrs and smiles at me with
half-closed eyes, signs of deep contentment.  She also runs into the
family room when I'm reading and sits on the arm of the couch next to
me and rubs her head against mine while talking to me about her day...
She sleeps at my feet at night to guard me from harm -- and escorts me
whereever I go during the day.  Hannah is always there.

Amanda Panda (aka The Flash, aka The Rotten Little Kid) plays "monster
under the blanket" every night before we go to sleep...and she plays
the monster!  She sneaks under the comforter and zooms around on the
waterbed so I can chase her and wiggle her around from the suface.
Mandycat also comes up to me PURRING very loudly which is her request
for some cuddles.  She also wraps her paw around my finger and holds
it while she lays next to me a purrs....her way of holding hands?

Nicky has lap attacks sometimes....they are rare and extra nice because of
their rarity.

Samson, the dignified gentleman, will, when no one is around, roll over on
his back next to me on the couch and stroke my arm while I tickle his
tummy...of course, this is not dignified behavior, so if he hears Marge
coming down the hall, he assumes his normal aloof poise before she
apprears.  He always pats my arm reassuringly before he leaves, however,
as if to say, "our little secret, eh wot?"

    White Lightning:
    
    She will put her forehead against mine and just *think* love.  She will
    lay on the floor with her beautiful white tummy up and her eyes just
    staring at me.  When I get near, her paw will reach out for mine.  At
    night, she butts me until I let her under the covers and lays right up
    against me.
    
    Black Thunder:
    
    She is the first to greet me when I come home.  She jumps into my arms
    and just *lays* over my shoulder.  Then she starts nuzzling my neck and
    ear.  Later, during quiet time, she jumps into my lap gives me a quick
    kiss and is off again.  In bed, she is the one who lays over my head 
    and *cleans* my hair.  She is still there in the morning when I wake
    up.
    
    DejaVu:
    
    Deja is the timid one but she still has her way of showing love.  She
    will cry until I come to her and then just rub under my hand.  She 
    will *get* the brush and twist herself into circles so that I don't 
    miss any spots.  She watches me in the bathroom and follows me around
    the house. 
    
    Patches:
    
    She is the quiet one.  She waits for me on the bed at night and always
    sleeps with me.  She comes down the hallway when I come home and just
    waits until I get to her to give her some loving.  At times she comes
    to me in the family room but not too often because of Thunder and 
    Lightning.  When I am outside, she always stays near.
    
    Black Beauty:
    
    The one and only male has a unique way of showing love.  He just sits
    and *stares* at you.  He also sleeps with me at night at the foot of 
    the bed.  He is not a lap cat but he definitely will hold a
    conversation with you.  First thing in the morning he makes sure that I
    know he cares.  His love for the *girls* is something to watch.  If one
    of them is being punished or hisses or cries for any reason, he is
    right there to soothe or protect. 
    
    StormCloud:
    
    A non-feline Standard Collie definitely shows her love.  If she could
    climb inside my skin, she would.  I sometimes feel as if she is *glued*
    to me.  No matter which room I am in, Storm is there.  When I come home
    in the evening she shows her gladness and love by doing pretty bows and
    dancing.
    
    
    I am a very blessed person and feel honored to be loved by so many
    wonderful animals.
    
    Now I just wish my kids would take lessons.  I have to hound them for a
    hug.....

    Misty, is the biggest (in size, too) lover of the bunch.  I'm her
    special person, and she follows me around, sits in my lap, as soon as
    I'm sitting, comes to me when I call her, talks to me makes the cutest
    little chirps, and half meows.  She puts me to sleep each night by
    snuggling around my head and purring in my ear.  When it's cold, she
    goes under the cover between my husband and myself.  When I'm eating
    something, she reaches out her paw to let me know she's there and wants
    a taste.  When I'm packing for a trip, she sits in my suitcase, she
    also acts grouchy to the other cats.  When I come home, she stays as
    close to me as she can.  She gazes into my eyes when I talk to her, and
    I swear she understand what I'm saying.  
    
    Lizette, likes to snuggle on my lap and knead with all 4 paws.  I
    always know when it's time to trim her claws.  She also licks my face and
    sometimes gives me a lovebite.  She waits for me to get out of the
    shower, and meows to tell me to hurry up.  She's alway the first one at
    the door when we come home.
    
    Misha, loves attention.  When we come home, he flops over on his side,
    to have his tummy rubbed.  He will settle down next to me on the sofa,
    and purr.  He likes it when my husband holds him like a baby. 
    He follows me around getting underfoot, especially on the stairs.
    
    Marnie, our youngest, and with those adorable folded ears, the cutest. 
    He loves to be held and just purrs and grunts and groans.  He likes to
    spend time with me first thing in the morning.  He just snuggles on my
    lap. 
    
    They are just wonderful, so loving and such fun to watch and play with.

    All four usually sleep with us.  I usually wake up pinned down on all
    sides and unable to move. ;-)  I love it. 

    Koko likes to jump into our arms - literally.  This will only occur in
    the morning and usually we have to have our white terry cloth robes on.
    I'll be in the closet deciding what to wear when I hear this soft mew
    (so unusual for this fur-face to talk).  When I turn around she leaps
    into my arms.
    
    My husband just has to start heading to the closet and she follows him
    in there - doesn't hesitate - just jumps on to him.  Once she is in our
    arms she is so happy - just purring away.
    
    Mandy likes to knead me - or massage me.  Usually when we first go to
    bed and early in the morning.  She is so intense with her kneading. 
    She usually tends to my upper arm, shoulder or neck.  She also likes
    giving me little kisses.

    Mushroom leaps on me too...she just sits there looking at the floor and
    then leaps up at you.  I have actually had my back to her when she did
    it once, I can tell you, she nearly had me hanging off the lamp shade
    she gave me such a fright.  Omlette is a little young to know what
    cuddles are yet - only being 8 weeks old - she is more interested in
    beating Mushroom up.  Though I must say she does purr when you talk to
    her.  Imagine my surprise when I pet Mushroom and Omlette starts
    purring....mad little creature.

    When Tabitha shows love, it's an occasion to be remembered and savored!
    She loves us to little kitten cat pieces, and MUST be in the same room
    with us most of the time. She looks over & sort of nods in our
    direction & gives us the squinty little "hi eyes", as if she's saying,
    "Hello, I LOVE YOU!" But she's not one who goes for the lovie dovies.
    She'll let us snuggle her for a minute or two, but once she's had
    enough she moves on. Lately she's been coming up & sitting w/ me during
    quiet times (like when Callie the holy terror is sleeeping) and that
    has been a tremendous joy!! I hope she continues this new way of
    showing affection!!
    
    Callie is a little wierdo!! She's a total SPACE CASE, ZIPPERHEAD,
    LUNATIC one minute, and a mushy cuddly love bug the next!  I guess it's
    all part of kittenhood, tho!
    
    When she wants love, she comes right over & gets it. She's really
    talkative, too! "mmmmpprrrr, Mom! Love me, love me, love me! I'm so
    cute, I think I'll just flop over onto my back RIGHT HERE ON YOUR LAP!

    and she falls alseep. It's so darned cute, it makes you forget all
    about her waking you in the middle of the night to PLAY!!!
    
    Callie also loves to run to the bottom of the steps to get to the 
    door before I do. At first I thought she was being a little trouble
    maker, but now I know she just HATES when I leave & she wants to cuddle
    me up before I go! It's cute!
    
    But anytime you want, all you have to do is say "HI" to callie & she
    starts purring away!!
