My two lap cats need a new LOVING home. I'm moving
into a new house and although the landlord made an
exception for my kitties he's terribly allergic to
them. I'll be living in an in-law apartment that's
connected to the main house and I've tried having
them in the vicinity - it just doesn't work - he
has a very bad reaction to them. He's even reacted
to my clothing when I'm covered with fur ...
They're indoor kitties now and I considered letting
them outside, but the street is far too busy and
the worries I'd have far outweigh the thought of them
in a good home.
TIGGR: 17 lbs of fuzzy orange tiger, 4 yeard old, neutured,
easy-going, purrs LOUDLY all the time, loves to snuggle.
MOUSE: Small, all black, front double-paws, 4 years old,
spayed, talks to you quite a bit, loves to have tummy rubbed.
They're brother and sister and I've had them since they were
4 weeks old. Aside from vet visits they've never been apart
so I'd rather keep them together.
If anyone can offer a GOOD home full of LOVE please contact
me soon. Also, if anyone knows of shelters that GUARANTEE
adoptions, I'd appreciate the name.
Thanks! Heidi

I don't know of a shelter in the world that guarantees that a cat will
be adopted. Some cats are not considered adoptable and some potential
adopters do not meet the shelters' requirements for good, permanent
homes. If you've had these two cats since they were small kittens
and are now giving them up, how can a shelter guarantee that someone
else will adopt them and give them a good home for their entire lifetime?
I wish you luck in finding new, good, and permanent homes for Tiggr and
Mouse. It is now kitten season and you have a *lot* of competition...
Sorry if I've painted a bleak picture, but reality is sometimes painful.
