4643.0. "Sad Monday morning for me!" by ZENDIA::CIGNOTTI () Mon May 13 1991 10:36

	I'm heartbroken. I had to have my 16 year old Siamese cat put
	to sleep last Friday. He was my baby and I'm not doing very
	well right now dealing with my sadness. I do know that I
	would like to have another one join my family, and I am
	looking for a male sealpoint Siamese kitten. He doesn't
	have to be a purebred (i.e., papers), but I would like him
	to have both a Siamese mother and father.

	I know a new kitten will never replace what I have lost, but
	I do have a lot of love and a good home to give a new 'baby'.
	I would appreciate hearing from anyone who knows or has a
	Siamese kitten for adoption.  Thanks.

    	I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. You know we all
    	understand how you feel. Just remember the love you
    	shared and eventually you will smile to think of it
    	instead of feeling sad...

	We're sorry to hear about your Siamese baby, too. They are such
	lovable and sweet companions. I'll be calling my breeder later
	today and will ask her if she has any kittens available.

    Hugs to you, I sure hope you get a new baby to keep you company soon.
    Nothing will ever take the place of your baby, but purrs & headbutts
    sure make it easier.

    Thinking of you,

4643.5THINK BEFORE YOU MAKE DECISIONS...ASDS::MAHONMon May 13 1991 13:5412
    When my Tiggre was hit by a car last August, it was very difficult for me.
    Talking about living with swollen eyes! I did receive a kitten
    right away, but ended up giving it away. I had too many memories
    with Tiggre to have another cat INVADE into my life. I just
    "adopted" a 2 yr old cat from a shelter in fitchburg on May 1. Now
    that I have Tiggre fondly stored in my mind, I can think about another
    little being in my life.

    Good luck,

    	Thanks for all your kind thoughts, I really appreciate them.
    	I knew you would all understand and needed to put my initial
    	note here today.

    	Again, I'd appreciate hearing of any male Siamese kittens
    	that need a good home.

    I'm very sorry about your loss. I know that amazingly often
    shelters in my area (Calif.) have siamese or part siamese cats;
    you might want to check out the shelters in your area.

    Or...you can find out where there is a cat show coming up and
    find a good breeder there.

    I am so sorry for your loss. I had a Siamese for 16 years + as well
    and was totally devistated. I ended up with a non-Siamese two weeks
    later, my Pippin and 2 months after that found Gino, my Seal Point. I
    can't imagine my life without a Siamese and I'm sure you'll find your
    special one soon.  Be strong.

    If you are looking for a "wedgehead" style siamese (the new style)
    I can recommend a very good breeder in Framingham. If you're looking
    for the more traditional style check out the "Traditional Siamese
    Breeders & Fanciers association". I'm told they run a classified
    ad in CATS & CAT FANCY. I've also been told theres a good traditional
    breeder named Marcia Jewett in Millis Mass.

    I am very sorry to hear of your loss and would like to add his name
    to the Silver Lining Memorial list for this quarter.
