Hello Cat Lovers,
I am owned by Heather. She is one year old. I think that
she is small for a cat. She is kept in the house, and she has
been spayed, and declawed in the front. She is short haired, has
green eyes, and tortise shell pattern with mixed colors on her back
(gray, white, orange on back, and looks like she has black eye liner
around her eyes). I just love her! She is so funny, and unpredict-
able. Does anyone know what the black eye liner around the eyes means?
I am friends with the lady that has her mother. I think Heather
has picked up some of her mother's traits. Does anyone have comments
about this?
Heather keeps us in stitches (HA, HA) at home all the time. She
doesn't do a lot of talking with her meow. She plays ball, stalks
us when we come around the corner, likes high places (sitting up on
the top of the bathroom door playing like Snoopy the vulture), sleeps
with us on the bed at night (lies down like a person would), doesn't
know she is a cat, swats at herself when she looks in the mirror, she
is intelligent, is very independent, only wants love when she wants,
is intelligent, is very independent, only wants/gives love when she
wants, she does give love bites/licks, and doesn't like if you touch
her paws/tail too much when you pet her.
One night I came home from work, and acknowledged her while
starting to cook dinner. I guess she thought that I hadn't given
her enough attention. While I was cooking at the stove, she jumped
up and bit my butt!! Can you believe it? She was also hungry!! She
wanted to be fed before we were that night!! She is THE QUEEN !!
It seems like nothing scares her!! She chased our neighbor's dog
off of our back porch last weekend from inside with her intimidating
cat cries/stare.
We need a video camera to film her for America's Funniest Home
Videos!! She is something else. If you could only see her!
Help !! Does your cat do this?? Whenever we have company, Heather
isn't too amiable (including some of our family members). We are
not worried, nor do we expect Heather to change. Heather is Heather,
and we can't ask any more/less from her. She even stays mad at us
after our company leaves!! She stares them down from the top of her
favorite chair if they are sitting in it. She even manages to make
a spitting sound (not really getting anyone wet) at them after so long.
Is she jealous about other people being around us while very
territorial too? She never runs from anyone. She isn't scared of
people even though she doesn't like them being in her house.
I try to squirt her when I don't want her to do certain things.
The two I really don't want are for her to walk around/lie on the
dining room table, and kitchen counters. She really tests my patience
sometimes. She is so stubborn, and persistent that it is sometimes
ridiculous. Does this sound familiar to some of you?
I'd love to hear your replies! This is the first note I've
written in the conference. I've been an avid reader for a few months.
Thank you for your time!! Hope you have enjoyed this!!
