Probably most of you are aware of this already but on the off chance
that you aren't - here is a way participating shelters and humane
socities can pick up some badly needed dollars. I know Elaine Bosler
and Buddy Dog both are participants.
Gaines and Ken-L ration both are involved. Here is how it works...
Homer symbols (Homeless Homer is a cartoon dog) will be on all Gaines
and Ken-L Ration products soon. Until he appears, send the starred
price markers from the dry dog food packages or the star from the labels
on the can of all Gaines products.
Redemption is $.20 for each Homer symbol on dry or soft/moist package,
and 2cents for every Homer symbol from a can or treat package.
You can call 1-800-842-4637 for the name of the participating shelter
nearest you.
It's a way to help the shelters get revenue in tough times.
