4514.0. "Anyone want a Tuxedo cat for FREE??" by SKETCH::MACKINNON (Scott MacKinnon, 223-3830) Tue Apr 02 1991 15:37

Well, It looks like I`m gonna have to get rid of Bart. Bart is my
1 yr old (just turned 1 2 weeks ago) tuxedo cat. He is a black and
white cat with really cool markings- He is black with 2 white cheeks,
a white racing stripe going from the tip of his nose to his forehead,
4 white paws and some white on his belly. He is a male and I`ve had
him since he was 6 weeks old. I have no problems at all with him going
the bathroom in his kitty litter box and he is mostly a house cat but
I let him out once in a while too. He has had all his shots but is not
neutered. He also gets along great with my mini dachshund who is the
same age as Bart and they`ve been best friends since the day I got
them. They play together, sleep together on my bed and help each other
clean themselves. I hate to separate them but I`m moving the 1st week
in may and my soon to be roomate is allergic to cats. If you know
anyone that wants to adopt Bart for FREE then give me a ring at DTN-
223-3830 or home phone- (508)256-5944. I work @ MLO and live in
Chelmsford, Ma. I will deliver if geography is a problem. I`d hate to
have to bring Bart to the Humane Society but if I can`t get rid of
him by the end of the month, I`m gonna have too :^( .

Can I suggest that your soon-to-be roommate start getting Allergy shots???

Is she not allergic to the Dog? Sounds like the two of them are so
attached that it would be a shame to break them up.

I'm sure the dog and cat will miss each other, I'm sure they're be
    depressed...

When my male cat snook out of the house, (when my girlfriend babysat
them), the female wouldn't eat, sleep, and went around meowing, and
    looking for him...
    thank God I found him....

maybe you're roommate could get shots???

I'm bringing your info to my new neighbor who is male and lives
alone. He really likes cats and told me he wanted one cause he
lives alone. I'll let you know what happens.
